MTV's latest celebrity-oriented reality show features Cameron Diaz and her crew exploring some of the most exotic, environmentally unique places on the planet as they "seek to discover ways to preserve them."
It's all part of MTV's new adventure reality series Trippin'. The channel has ordered ten episodes scheduled to premiere on Monday, March 28, at 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
Trippin' goes along while Diaz and her friends, including Drew Barrymore, DMX, Rebecca Romijn, Blink 182's Mark Hoppus, Eva Mendes, Farnsworth Bentley, pro-BMX biker Mat Hoffman, Redman, Kid Rock, Jessica Alba and Kelly Slater, journey the planet to explore some of the most beautiful, and sometimes threatened, ecological wonders in the world.
Their itinerary includes traveling to the glaciers outside of Patagonia, sand-boarding in the Atacama Desert of Chile, riding elephant-back in the grasslands of Nepal, competing in an archery competition in Bhutan and relaxing in the hot springs within the last remaining intact ecosystem in the United States, Yellowstone National Park. Additional adventures are still being planned.
"These trips have been the adventure of a lifetime," said Diaz, "and the groups we've been able to share them with have been as amazing and diverse as the locations themselves. It's truly been an inspiration to all of us involved with the show to learn and experience for ourselves the incredible impact we have on our planet and how we can continue to preserve and enjoy its beauty and its bounty."
Diaz is executive producing, along with Elizabeth Rogers, Lois Curren, Rod Aissa, Trip Taylor and Greg Johnston.
