Neve Campbell, Nick Nolte and Tim Roth have joined the cast of the indie drama
The Death of Harry Tobin, which will mark the feature directing debut
of Daniel Hainey. Filming is scheduled to begin next month in Ireland, with
Peter Glatzer producing through his new deal with the commercial production
banner Villains.
Hainey also penned the script about a young woman, played by Campbell, living
in a small community on an isolated English island. The woman decides to write
to the mainland to describe a murder confession she witnessed when she was younger.
Soon, an investigator (Roth) is out on the island investigating the truth behind
the murder. Nolte will play one of the community's leading citizens.
Robin Benson and John Marshall, the heads of Villains, will executive produce
Harry Tobin, which is a U.K. and Irish co-production. Moonstone Entertainment
will be handling sales on the project.
Repped by ICM, Campbell was last seen in When Will I Be Loved and The
Company, while the CAA-repped Nolte was featured in Hotel Rwanda
and The Hulk. Roth has upcoming credits that include Walter Salles' Dark
Water and Mark Rydell's Jump Shot.
