Leave it to the cheeky Brits to elect a Martini King and Queen of the 21st Century. A survey carried out in Great Britain by the luxury vodka brand Belvedere Vodka, revealed that Jude Law and Kate Moss would bear the titles.

The public was invited to select a modern man and woman who they think epitomize old fashioned vodka martini era glamour based on icons such as Brigitte Bardot, Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.

The results of the survey showed that Jude Law (1st) squeaked by George Clooney (2nd) by just two votes to become first ever Martini King. Tony Blair (18th) comes ahead of both Mick Jagger and Prince Charles (20th) as politics ruled over rock and royalty.

Pierce Brosnan (3rd) was crowned the Martini James Bond with almost double the number of votes of Sean Connery (6th). Prince William (8th) was voted above Prince Harry (16th) in a battle of the Princes.

When it came to females, Kate Moss (1st) won over Nicole Kidman and Scarlett Johansson (2nd) by just one vote to become Belvedere's first ever Martini Queen. Camilla Parker Bowles (12th) beat off fashion and singing divas J-Lo (16th), Jade Jagger (14th), Stella McCartney (18th) and Sophie Dahl (13th).

Meanwhile, Law's wife, Sienna Miller, struggled to impress down at 7th, whilst Cherie Blair (20th) didn't quite match up to her husband's reputation.

"It's interesting to see who people feel are today's sophisticated glamour set. We've seen enough of the C -list celebrity. It's time to get sophisticated and glamorous again." says Alex Field, UK spokesperson for Belvedere Vodka.
