New Line's Domino, written by Richard Kelly of Donnie Darko fame, will begin shooting on October 4 with Tony Scott directing and Keira Knightley starring.
The story is based on the strange but true story of Domino Harvey, the daughter of actor Laurence Harvey. She was a former Ford model who rejected her Beverly Hills life to become a rough and ready bounty hunter.
Most of the filming will be done in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Scott is producing with Samuel Hadida, while Hadida is financing as well. Domino is being produced under the Davis Films/Scott Free productions banners.
Scott, who most recently directed the Denzel Washington hit Man on Fire, has worked with Hadida before on the films True Romance (1993) and Spy Game (2001).
Knightley can currently be seen on screen in Disney's King Arthur. Also on her plate are The Jacket, in which she co-stars with Adrien Brody, and another take on Pride and Prejudice.
