A superhero faculty made up of Bruce Campbell, Lynda Carter and Dave Foley
will be featured in Sky High, a teen comedy directed by Mike Mitchell
and produced by Andrew Gunn.
Sky High is about a high school for teens with super powers in a world where superheroes are not all that uncommon. Campbell will play Coach Boomer, who tests students and decides whether they become a sidekick or a hero. Carter will play the school's principal, and Foley is geared to take on the part of Mr. Boy, who teaches the sidekicks.
The comedy is slated to start filming early this week in Los Angeles. Serving as executive producer is Ann Marie Sanderlin of Gunnfilm.
Campbell is not new to the genre. He is best known for playing cult action hero Ash in Sam Raimi's Evil Dead film series. Carter has played a superhero before as well, starring for many years in the Wonder Woman TV series. Foley started out on Kids in the Hall, starred in NewsRadio, guested on Scrubs and is currently hosting Celebrity Poker Showdown.
