Tim Robbins has drugs on his mind. Daily Variety reports Robbins is working with Showtime on a drama series about a troubled family whose main characters work in the pharmaceutical industry, an area that will also be rife with drama.
Showtime has had big success with its comedy series Weeds about a suburban marijuana dealer. Now legal drugs get the spotlight.
Robbins will partner with Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas on the series, aptly called Possible Side Effects. He’ll write, serve as executive producer and hopes to direct the pilot.
